Small Calendar

A whole Year in a touch!

Small Calendar is one of the smallest Calendar in the World!

Enjoy a whole year in a touch. Small Calendar is a nice app to find the info about your interested day in a smart and quick way!

For instance, would you like to discover the day of the week about your birthday this year ? You can do it just with a couple of touches!

The same for next year and more, up to year 2099.

It's really easy and nice to use:

1. Select the month (i.e. April)

2. Choose the day you want to know (i.e. 27)

3. The day of the week will be highlighted(i.e. Wednsday)!

4. Just click on the Year to change it!

5. Click on the Settings button in order to change the languages and date format.

Confusing user interface

Was looking for a perpetual calendar to replace Intercal on my Mac, which hasn't been updated in years and still needs Rosetta. This looked okay, but on downloading, I found its user interface unusual and harder to use than it needs to be. It tries too hard to be different from calendars like iCal and paper ones. Instead of having a fixed Sunday to Saturday arrangement, a 31-day grid is fixed in the middle of the screen. It's always 31 days, even you select 30-day months or even February. Tap on a month then a day and the day of the week is highlighted at the month. This wastes an incredible amount of screen space because the seven days of the week are repeated twelve times on the screen. And instead of knowing just what day it is by using the spatial sense everyone has from traditional calendars, knowing that Sunday is on the left and Saturday on the right, you have to look for the highlighted day. You also lose the understanding of where adjacent days in preceding and succeeding months are.

What a waste. If it was more than $1, I'd want a refund. As it is, I'll keep looking for another perpetual calendar and this will be deleted as soon as I find a normal one.
